Welcome to the launch of a new resource and forum for animal research professionals around the world!
MyAnimalLab.comTMis an online community for laboratory animal professionals. We are an independent, online resource and forum for people working in, and with, animals in research. We include in this community people involved in facility design, management and operations.
This forum has been organized to compliment and support the work of existing organizations and communities around the world who are dedicated to improving the lives of research animals, the facilities in which we work and the lives of those who work with research animals.
Site access
The site is comprised of two areas:
The Open Access area supports outreach efforts including educating and informing the public about the work of laboratory animal professionals and how animal-based biomedical research improves the lives of animals and people all over the world.
The Secure area permits access to discussion forums and resources for the laboratory animal professional.
New functionality will be added as we continue to develop the site. This will include, as an example, a secure area for interactive, topic focused discussion groups among registered members of the site.
We invite you to look around and, if you are interested in learning more about the site, want to be informed of updates, or are interested in working with us to develop the site, please register and let us know how you would like to play a part.
We look forward to your participation and hope that you either find—or can contribute—answers to many of the challenges of laboratory animal research.
